This picture has some explaining behind it! We went in to a big boot outlet store, and I really wanted Justin to take a pic with the AWESOME bear. He wouldn't so I did. He was even embarrassed to take the pic and rushed, so here is the funky faced pic of me!! We found some really cool Harley boots, but none that Justin really liked enough to have for his birthday.

This is the birthday card I made for Justin. He wasn't very happy to have all that candy in the beginning, but later he wouldn't share!

Justin and I got a dog! He is half Alaskan Malamute half Timber Wolf. I know some of you are going to freak out, but he is very smart and does not growl. He actually is a little whiner! We'll see if we'll be able to keep him, he will grow to be about 80 lbs! But he's a little cutie. :)

Justin got volunteered to be in a skit on base. Everyone that "volunteered" had all kinds of injuries painted on. The skit was for the medics to practice helping people with those injuries. The injury didn't look extremely real, but when I took pics, it made it look believable!

Okay, so I have no idea how to organize pics with script!! So pic #1 is our back yard. Yes, we were the lucky ones to get a yellow fire hydrant! Pic #2 and 3 are brand new base housing! Which we are hoping to get into when our lease is up. They are soooo adorable! #4 and 5 are pics of a beaver or otter or something! They swim in the ponds on base. #6 is us. We both don't like the pic, but it's the only one we took of us yesterday. So, there you have it! Oh, the last pic is one of the ponds on base. It is soooo pretty here right now! I wish you all could come and see for yourselves how gorgeous it is here!

Just a quick update. Justin got a new roommate! This is his 4th one since he's been there. His last roommate chose to get out of the A.F. I don't know why he would want to do that with the economy! Jobs are scarce these days! Justin is glad he's gone though! He says that he was dirty, and he had stinky feet. :) Not many people's feet smell like his though. I never thought that I wouldn't mind smelling someone's feet!! I am STILL baffled that someone's feet can smell EXACTLY like buttered popcorn!! ANYWAY....
Justin only has 17 days left of tech school and then I get to be with him!! Yay!! :) We decided that since they spent 61 million dollars on new housing for Whiteman AFB, that we should live there since there won't be a waiting list!! Then if we love it there, we will think about buying a house.
Can someone please convince Justin that holidays ROCK?!! He, for some reason, does not like them and is a complete party pooper!! :( But don't worry! I already sent him his Valentine's Day gift! Hopefully, if I spoil him on holidays, he will learn to love them. Or maybe when we have kids....if that ever happens.

There are only 44 days left unil Justin comes back for good!! I am really excited! I have been trying to keep busy so the time goes by faster, so I have been reading a makeup book. It's actually a makeup artistry text book, and one of the first things they have you do is model your own face out of clay. They say it helps you get to know the bone structure of the face, and that is really helpful when shadowing and highlighting it. So, I bought some clay, and I am now modeling my head!! Let me tell you! I think this is my first time even touching clay, and it is really hard to model a face! Especially when it's your first time! Justin says that in a couple years, I can go to makeup school!! I already have the one I want to go to picked out, so all I have to do is wait... I'm hoping I can do that as a career, and stay home with my kids (when we have them).

Justin is still the top of his class! As you all know, I am super-duper proud of him! :) He has a new assitant instructor, (or whatever they call it) and for some reason, has a real problem with Justin. So, he's doing all he can to not, "Punch him in the throat." Which is a favorite saying of his now, and I think is pretty morbid. Especially when he tells me that it only takes 3 pounds of pressure to kill someone!! I think it's about time that he hang out with some civilized company! :) He's only got 19 year olds to hang out with, so I hope that he doesn't come home acting like on! That actually wouldn't be all bad, especially when I'm pretty immature myself. ;)

Work is going really well! I actually think I like it better then being home! For some reason lately, my dad is being a real grouch. I think he's about ready to get me out of the house. So luckily, I only have a month and a half left. I will, literally, be freaking out when I get my own home again!! It's really waring on me to go from independent, to dependant! Ick, not my favorite thing. But on the bright side, I am not paying rent. And for that, I am very greatful!!

I went to Texas from Nov. 25th-29th, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Darcy was sooo sweet, I asked her to drive me to the airport at 4 o'clock in the morning and she did! It was so much fun being able to talk to her on the way there! I don't know what I would have done without her.
When I got to Wichita Falls, they gave me a garmin GPS AGAIN!! And, yes, it still sucks as much as the last time I was in Texas! I went around the same place I swear 4 times before I stopped on the side of the road and prayed to find my motel, that did it! I found it immediately after that, thank goodness! I would have killed someone if I didn't find it soon! Oh, and did I mention that my luggage didn't arrive with me? They told me to come back at 9 pm because the weight on the plane had reached it's limit and it couldn't come in with me. (I got there at 3:30!) So I FINALLY get to the motel and didn't get to freshen up before I saw Justin. But it was sooo amazing to be able to see him again!!!!!! I cannot describe how much I love this man! We had a blast! (The only downside was that I brought a camera, but didn't take any pics! I am going to have to get used to using a camera.) For Thanksgiving we went to Whataburger, and watched Twilight. We loved Twilight, Justin asked sporadically throughout my stay about the books and the story etc. It was so fun seeing how much he got into all of the details!! He gave me a tour of the base, and I even got to eat at their dining facility! The lady where we went to pay almost didn't accept my military ID because it was pink! She had never seen a pink ID before! The last day I was so sad to leave, but knew that I would see Justin in a couple of weeks. That's what really kept me from bawling again. He is such great man and my best friend! For those of you that don't know, he comes home for Christmas break Dec 20th. I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Love you all!!

Ok, so I know you all have these great pictures of family and have all this exciting news to tell everyone. I love hearing everything from everyone!!! But I don't really have that much going on, so if you are all wondering what's going on, you can all pretty much bet that not much has happened!! I did get a new job at Payless Shoes. I actually love it and the girls there are super cool! Justin is coming home for Christmas break. He will be here the 20th of December! I am sooooooo freaking excited! We don't know for sure, but we are planning for me to move in with one of Justin's friend's wife a mile or two from the base. I am hoping to be able to transfer to the Payless in Wichita Falls. Anyway, that sums up everything that has happened to me! Justin is doing really well in tech school, he is up there at the top of his class! I am so proud of him! He is turning a lot of girls heads too! I'm gonna have to move there just to keep the girls away!! He said just today that a girl was staring at him while she was walking by and she almost tripped! Anyway, I think he's having a lot of fun!

To those of you who don't already know, Justin and I will be moving to Missouri. (Whiteman Air Force Base) We will be about 4 hrs away from Amie and about 16 hrs away from Michael. Whiteman AFB is the only base in the United States to have the B2 Bombers and that is the exact plane that Justin will be working on. He is sooo excited that he gets to work on a stealth bomber rather than the B52! The plus side to him working on planes too, is that they said that he will never be in the war zone because the planes never land. They will always land outside the war zone like Germany or Italy etcetera. So he will never have to be deployed to Iraq!!! That is such a relief! Plus, if he gets deployed they said that I can live with him. I just can't move all of our stuff there. That sounds too good to be true! I guess we'll see when the time comes.

I cannot even describe how seeing Justin felt! He is the most amazing person I've ever met! We all had so much fun! Michael and Darcy made it really special, it was so fun to have them there. Lackland Air Force Base was actually pretty nice, it was cleaner and better kept then the rest of San Antonio that I saw. They had a lot of rules! No holding hands, hugging, kissing in public, no walking or talking on a cell phone, no wearing sunglasses, and they always had to have their uniforms on unless they went swimming. The GPS that I rented with the car was dumb! It gave the wrong directions all the time! Justin, Darcy, and Michael will vouch for me!! But the whole trip was amazing!!

One Week

It is exactly one week until graduation! Or at least until I leave to go to the graduation. (same thing!) I am SOOOO excited to see Justin! I'm hoping that I come back with tons of pictures to share with everyone!

Class Reunion

I went to my class reunion a week or two ago and I finally got the picture! There were about a total of 30 people there! Yeah, that's pretty tiny. And It wasn't all that great. Everyone just ate, took the picture and stood around talking. At least there was food!!!!

As we all know it was Justin's birthday on the 6th!! He got to call me and he told me that they are looking at him to work on the B52 Bomber! Guess what?!!! That exact plane has the longest training in tech school. :( Over 3 months!
Also, this week they are going camping, going into the gas chambers, and playing with guns! He's a little worried, they say it's going to be really difficult.
Justin says that many of the people in his flight have gotten seriously hurt and some of them haven't been doing well and have been sent back a couple weeks. But Justin has miraculously not been hurt and he is one of the only ones not to get sick. (He says that he had a stuffy nose and that was minor compared to most of the others!) Does anyone else agree that he's Superman?!!!
He told me that those that wrote him he was thankful for their letters and to keep 'em coming. He still can't write anyone yet either! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support!

Basic is Half Over!!

Basic Training is half over and I am really excited to see Justin again!! He's gotten to call me twice and he says that he is losing weight and that he can almost see his stomach muscles! He says that he pours sweat everyday and and he can almost run the mile and a half in 11 min. He said for me to tell everyone hi! He is doing great, but his flight is having a hard time working together and doing things in unison. If we could all pray for them to get through it, that would be very helpful and greatly appreciated. He needs letters! His is very lonely and he needs support from everyone. That would give him a big boost if everyone that read this wrote him a letter! Thanks!!

7:45am- Events briefing at BMT Reception Center auditorium
9:00am- 2 mile Airman's Run (watch Justin run by in unit formation)
11:00am- Events briefing at BMT Reception Center auditorium
1:30pm- Honor Graduate and Top Physical Readiness Training Ceremony (Airmen are released for Base Liberty immediately following ceremonies)
7:30pm- Airmen are due back to their Training Squadron

Friday's Schedule of Events

7:15am- Events briefing at BMT Reception Center auditorium
7:30am-8:45am- Busses depart for parade ground
9:00am- Graduation parade (DVD available if interested tell me!)
10:15am-11:00am- Open House (Training Squadrom visitation)
12:00pm &1:00pm- Airman, Spouse and Parent briefing at BMT Reception Center auditorium
2:00pm- Town pass begins
7:30pm- Airmen are due back at their Training Squadron

Basic Training

I got the email from the sister missionary, and she said that trainees may not be able to write home for a couple of weeks until their flight earns the privilege!! Wow, they not only punish the airmen, they punish their families as well! I don't know about you, but that sounds pretty mean to me. :( Anyway, she finally gave me the correct address which is:

I just got an invitation for my 5 year class reunion!! I am so upset that Justin can't go with me! I am totally bummed. They want me to pay $5 for the entree ( which are hamburgers and hotdogs), and then bring a potluck dish. Wow, I think I'm getting gypped!! Am I the only one with lamo classmates? I wanna hear everyone's stories.
